A Selection of tractor Images

No punctures with these wheels, but strictly for off road use.

Where and when this picture was taken isn't known, although the black hair would suggest it was many years ago.

Ransomes MG40 Horticultural Tractor.

The last of the MG models, having been preceded by  models, 2, 5 ,and 6.

Fitted with  the Sachs Diesel Engine

Cost in 1960 was about £450.00

Here's something a little different, a Calddozer.

Made by Aveling Barford of Grantham.

A Calfdozer because it is smaller than a Bulldozer.

Single Cylinder Armstrong Siddeley Diesel Engine.

If ever a machine justified a seat belt, this would be it.

Bristol 10 Crawler tractor with a flat 4,  side valve Jowett engine. This tractor is from the 1930's. Later machines were fitted with Austin 10 engines, of which there was an ample post war supply.

The Front driven sprockets made these machines a safe option for working on inclines.

Fordson Standard at Marsden Carnival in the 1990's.

You can almost smell the TVO fuel

The Fordson E27N partially in view is also in the collection.

Fordson E27N Petrol / Paraffin with Roadless half track conversion.

Picture taken above Blackmoorfoot Reservoir, Huddersfield.

Newly restored at the time waiting for the Aluminium Grill.
