Boiler cross tube failed May 2016, after passing internal inspection and pressure test only hours before.
Boiler refurbished 2017, new firebox and foundation ring, new chimney, new bottom section to water jacket – good for another 20 year.
Boiler refitted and replacement cab construction started Spring 2020. Several months delay in completing this refurbishment due to Coronavirus Pandemic!
