Also fitted with a Ruston Hornsby 6PS single cylinder/compressor engine starter pack.
Carter’s Spring Injection was introduced in 1924. It is a simple principle, fuel is delivered to the injection chamber at low pressure 15 PSI and is then injected into the cylinder at 1,000 PSI by the release of a spring operated by the timing mechanism.
Remounted on purpose made skid, as previous trailer and mountings were grossly inadequate and unsafe.
