International BTD6 Bulldozer
Serial No 7892 dating it to be from 1958, (serial numbers 6463 – 7931).
The tractor is based on the American TD6, prefixed with a B for British, manufactured at the International Harvester plant at Doncaster .
Approx 18,000 were produced in the UK from 1955 to 1975, although produced in America from 1940.
Fitted with a 4 Cylinder 50 HP Diesel Engine, the bare tractor weighs 7500 lbs (3.5 tonnes), with the blade approx 5 tonnes.
These machines also came in larger sizes, BTD8 and BTD20
