Exhaust Pot

Exhaust pot, Expansion Chamber, Silencer, Muffler – these are all names for this very basic object, a heavy duty cast iron vessel to fit into the exhaust line of a large stationary engine. Nothing fancy no inner chamber, no wadding – just a heavy duty casting with in and out flanged connections.
If it wasn’t for the weight it would make an excellent base for a coffee table!
