Fordson E27N County Full Track Tractor

These were manufactured from 1945 to 1951, fitted with Perkins P6 diesel engine, 4.7 litres giving 45 horsepower with electric start and the luxury of lights.
Restored in the 1990’s from a very sorry state with crankshaft wear measured by ruler rather than feeler gauge. It is remarkable to think that an engine could have run in such condition.
Replacement engine located in Hebden Bridge, at a cost £100 ( a R.E.M.E. rebuild )
