Serial no F063, weighing in at an unballasted weight of 5tons 8 hundredweights. Dispatched from the factory to France by order of the War Office on 10th January 1916.
The original engine was an Albion 2 Cylinder paraffin engine, the current Morris engine being fitted in 1943.
This is thought to be the 6th oldest known Barford Roller and the only one of it’s type (A B Archives 1987).
Displayed for some time at the Dingles museum, Lifton Devon.
Brought back to life by Bob and Richard Hart at Cardinham, Bodmin, from where it was sourced in 2009.
