Barford Mighty Atom

Fitted with a Villiers engine and with a host of attachments, it became known as “The Mechanical Gardener”. Similar machines were produced by other makers, a well known forerunner was the Anzani “Iron Horse”.
Sent to the museum by a kind donor from the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides.
