Bristol 10 Crawler tractor with a flat 4, side valve Jowett engine. This tractor is from the 1930's. Later machines were fitted with Austin 10 engines, of which there was an ample post war supply.
The Front driven sprockets made these machines a safe option for working on inclines.

This is a beast of a machine , it's 14.7 litre Hercules Diesel engine and 12 speed transmission does make it something special.
Designed to pull the Rodgers M9 trailer carrying a 50 ton payload on it's 24 wheels.
Has to be driven to be appreciated.
